Old cat, new wrapping
Black Cat, founded in 1905, is one of the oldest tea and coffee retailers in Norway. They started out as a tiny speciality store at Grensen in Oslo, where they still are located, selling their own wide range of products.
A new visual identity had to show Black Cat as relevant and current, while also communicating the company’s long and rich history. The inspiration for the new profile came from digging through their archives of photos and vintage packaging.
